Technical Overview

Maker Store Tips and Tricks

  • Install the eccentric spacers on only one side of a gantry plate to give you an easily accessible tensioning adjustment point.

  • Turn the spacer slowly using an open-ended wrench while checking the wheel traction by hand to avoid applying too much pressure against the rail track.

  • Always lock down the secondary securing nut firmly after completing your adjustment to prevent machine vibrations from rotating the spacer out of position.
