We’re excited to introduce our new 30 Series Extrusion and Hardware range, designed to expand our aluminium extrusion system and provide more flexibility for builders, makers, and machine designers.
The 30 Series sits right between our 20 Series and 40 Series extrusions, offering a great balance between strength, size, and weight. It’s ideal for projects that need more rigidity than the 20 Series, but don’t require the larger and heavier 40 Series profiles.
Why 30 Series?
30 Series hits the sweet spot of strength-to-weight ratio. It allows longer spans than 20 Series extrusion while remaining lighter and more compact than 40 Series. This makes it a great option for machine frames, enclosures, workstations, automation projects, and general workshop builds.
30 Series Key Features and Benefits
- Excellent strength-to-weight ratio
- Allows longer spans than the 20 Series without the heavyweight of the 40 Series
- 8mm-wide slot, compatible with many of our existing 40 Series hardware
- V-shaped groove along the centre of the slot serves as a guide for drill bits, helping drill perfectly aligned holes
- Extrusion ends can be tapped for M8 bolts, allowing simple feet attachment or blind joints
- Ideal for light to medium duty actuators, CNC frames, enclosures, workstations, and test rigs
30 Series Hardware Range
To support the new extrusion size, we’ve also introduced a range of 30 Series compatible hardware. This includes brackets, joining plates, fasteners, T-nuts, end caps, and panel mounting hardware.
These components are designed to make assembly simple, while still allowing strong and modular structures that can be easily modified or expanded later.
- Corner brackets
- L-Brackets
- Joining plates
- T-nuts and bolts
- End caps
- Panel mounting hardware
- Structural connectors
- Hinges
- Handle

What Can You Build with 30 Series?
30 Series extrusion and hardware can be used for many different types of builds, including:
- CNC machine frames
- Enclosures
- Workstations and benches
- Automation frames
- Test rigs
- Shelving and storage
- Machine stands
- Small robotic or motion systems
Video Overview
This overview video is the first in our 30 Series Hardware video series, where we’ll go through different hardware components and show how they can be used in real builds.
Stay tuned for more videos and project examples using the 30 Series system.
