This little compact LED Light allows you to add light to your LilyPad project.
LilyPad Tri-Colour allows you to illuminate your projects in any colour you desire. Using the Tri-Colour LED board as a simple indicator, or by pulsing the Red, Green, and Blue channels, you can create any colour variation.

To turn a colour channel on you simply ground one of the R / G / B Pins to complete the circuit and illuminate that channel.

The LilyPad Tri-Colour LED does not need to be connected to a microcontroller ( such as the LilyPad Arduino (ATMega32U4) ) in order to control it, it is possible to use simple circuits to mix the colours of the LED.

Pro Tip: You can use alligator clips on the Tri-Colour LED sew tabs to temporarily connect them to a power souce ( such as the LilyPad Coin Cell Battery Holder ).

Connect the Positive tab ( + ) on the LilyPad Tri-Colour LED to the positive sew tab on the LilyPad Coin Cell Battery Holder, and each colour tab R ( Red ), G ( Green ), and B ( Blue ), to the negative tab ( – ) to connect them. A variety of secondary colours can be illuminated by changing the combination of the colour sew tabs that are connected to power.
