Description
Technical Overview
The Cast 90-Degree Corner Bracket joins modular aluminium framing assemblies. Specifically, this high-strength structural component establishes rigid, perpendicular connections. Because of this design, builders can easily interface structural profiles at right angles. This straightforward assembly minimizes complexity and effectively reinforces structural corners against deflection.
Furthermore, the design includes integrated structural alignment tabs. These tabs lock directly into the extrusion tracking channel. Consequently, the anti-rotation standoff teeth ensure an accurate, square connection between intersecting profiles. At the same time, they prevent the framework from twisting under mechanical torque or heavy operational loads.
Applications
Engineers and builders primarily choose this 90-degree cast corner bracket for modular framework construction. For instance, they use it to build structural frame corners, mechanical braces, or rigid structural reinforcements. Therefore, the bracket delivers an optimal mechanical connection point. This stable connection secures linear motion gantries, custom 3D printer enclosures, CNC machine bases, and general automated machinery.
Connection Orientations
This versatile component can be implemented across two distinct structural layout configurations:
-
-
Orientation 1: This baseline configuration utilizes the integrated alignment tabs to index and self-align the bracket directly within the extrusion tracking channel for a standard square layout.
-

- Orientation 2: This alternative configuration allows for a perpendicular connection originating from the side of the extrusion profile. To implement this layout, the alignment tabs on the bracket base are filed flush, allowing the flat reference face to sit perfectly level against the outer profile track.

Specifications:
- Cast Aluminium
- Fits on 20mm V-Slot or T-Slot Profile Extrusion Systems
Maker Store Tips and Tricks
-
When opting for Orientation 2, use a fine metal file to cleanly remove the 4mm tabs, ensuring the modified base area rests completely flush against the face of the extrusion.
-
Pre-assemble your low-profile screws and tee nuts loosely inside the bracket body before sliding the assembly onto your profile channels for faster framing tracking alignment.
-
Check frame squareness with a precision square block before final tightening torque is applied to the fasteners.
NOTE: Since the cast corner brackets have stand-off teeth (for locking in the slot) in one direction you use 10mm Low Profile Screws and for the flush mount direction you use the 8mm low profile screws along with the M5 Tee Nuts
