Description
Technical Overview
The Three-Way Cube Corner Connector provides a three-dimensional fastening node. This component securely joins three pieces of 20mm x 20mm V-Slot aluminium extrusion profiles. To achieve this, manufacturers mill the connector from a solid block of aluminium alloy. Consequently, the precision-machined faces establish exact 90-degree framing configurations across the X, Y, and Z axes.
The component integrates directly into modular framing structures during assembly. Specifically, it anchors to the internal channels of intersecting linear rails. As a result, this design ensures accurate orthogonal alignment. Furthermore, specific holes within the cube face accommodate 7mm eccentric spacers. Thus, you can mount adjustable V-wheels directly for linear motion systems.
Applications
Engineers and builders utilize this three-axis corner bracket frequently. Specifically, they use it to assemble the primary structural corners of multi-axis frames, 3D box structures, and mechanical enclosures. Because of its rigid internal reinforcement and three-dimensional alignment, this connector serves as an essential component for machinery frames. This is especially true for frames that experience continuous mechanical movement.
Ultimately, typical applications include constructing core structural frames for 3D printers. Additionally, builders use them for assembly frames in CNC routers and laser cutters. Finally, they work well for robotics enclosures and custom workspace structures

Maker Store Tips and Tricks
-
Fasten the cube to the ends of the extrusions using standard M5 Low Profile Screws paired with matching T-Nuts.
-
Position the cube so that the opposite access hole remains clear; this provides open tool clearance to easily reach and drive the interior screws during final assembly
