Description
These genuine AMASS XT90S connectors are excellent DC power connections requiring a high current carrying capability of up to 90A DC in a compact package. The XT90S features an integrated anti-spark system, that negates the need for a secondary anti-spark module for systems that use high voltage and high current, making for a much safer system that protects the user and electronic components. To protect the solder terminals, the connector kit features sheaths for the male and female connectors as standard. The XT90S is a female connector. The male connector is a standard XT90H connector. This has been included for your convenience.
This connector is widely used in robotics, hobbyist applications, and professional applications, cementing its reputation as a versatile and reliable high-current connector. The XT90H is a larger, higher-capacity version of the popular XT60, designed to handle greater current loads.
XT90S connectors are primarily constructed from durable nylon for the connector housing and feature conductive elements made of gold-plated brass. The nylon provides heat resistance and durability, while the gold plating ensures reliable conductivity and corrosion prevention. This combination makes XT90S connectors well-suited for applications involving high-current DC power. Unlike the standard XT90H, the XT90S has built-in circuitry. Despite this, the XT90S and XT90H are reverse compatible.
