Technical Overview
The T-Slot 30 x 30mm – 30 Series Silver is a square aluminium extrusion profile with an 8mm T-slot on each of its four faces, forming the primary structural member for 30 Series T-slot framing builds. The uniform square cross-section gives you a consistent bolt attachment point on every face, so T-nuts and brackets can engage any slot from any direction without repositioning the profile.
Machined from 6063-T5 aluminium with a silver anodised finish, the profile combines light weight with corrosion resistance and a clean appearance. It is compatible with the full range of 30 Series connectors, brackets, T-nuts, and joining hardware. Available in 1000mm, 1500mm, and 3050mm lengths, with free custom cutting to your exact length included with every order.
Applications
Use the T-Slot 30 x 30mm – 30 Series Silver as the primary structural rail or column in any 30 Series T-slot aluminium framing project where a compact square profile provides sufficient structural strength. Common applications include CNC router frames, 3D printer frames, workbench legs and cross-members, machine enclosures, equipment stands, display structures, and modular bolt-together frames for light industrial and workshop use.
Connect profiles at right-angle and T-junction joints using Sliding T-Nut – 30 Series, 10 Pack and the full range of 30 Series brackets and connectors. For wider or taller structural members within the same series, the 30 x 60mm and 30 x 90mm profiles are available from the 30 Series range.

- Select the free cutting option at checkout and enter your required length – Maker Store cuts your extrusion to length at no extra cost.
- Load T-nuts into the slot before assembling your frame; if you miss any, you can still slide them in from the open end of the profile after assembly.
- Square each corner before fully tightening brackets – the T-slot system allows adjustment until you reach final torque.
- For end connections without external brackets, use a 30 Series end fastener to create a concealed centre-bore joint that draws profiles together from the inside.
- If you need tapped ends for end-bolted connections, note it in the order comments – our warehouse taps with the correct tap size for 30 Series profiles.
