Technical Overview
The 6mm V-Slot Cover / Panel Holder – 20 Series is a snap-in profile designed for 20-series (20x20mm) V-slot and T-slot aluminium extrusions. It installs directly into the extrusion channel to provide flush slot protection, panel mounting, or cable management.
When oriented normally, the profile seals open tracks against dust and manufacturing debris. When inverted, it creates a channel that retains 3mm acrylic panels within the extrusion frame. Each length is 2000mm.
Applications
This profile is commonly used in machine enclosures, 3D printer frames, CNC routers, and display cases. In dirty workshop environments, the profile prevents wood chips, dust, and debris from accumulating inside extrusion rails. When inverted, it securely retains 3mm acrylic panels without additional mounting brackets.
The profile also functions as an integrated wire management solution, concealing and protecting cables routed within the structural extrusion channels.

- Press-fit the profile into the extrusion channel by hand. If the fit is tight, apply light pressure along the full length to seat it evenly.
- When using the profile as a panel holder, the inverted channel fits 3mm acrylic panels. Ensure the panel sits flush within the extrusion frame.
- For cable management, install the profile with the channel facing inward to keep wiring concealed and protected inside the extrusion rail.
