Description
These threaded Insert nuts have long teeth that dig deep into wood while being installed preventing turning or pull-out. This creates a very firm strong hold. Threaded inserts are primarily used in two situations. Either the screw has stripped the hole which means the insert will be installed to fix the hole or the user knows the screw will need to be installed and removed often and pre-emptively installs a Hex Drive Threaded Insert to prevent thread damage. Once installed, the insert has metal internal threading that can be continuously installed or removed from the insert without compromising the integrity. Suitable for materials like soft timbers, pine, composition board, MDF and plywood.
