Description
The LilyPad Light Sensor Module is a sewable breakout board with a small simple to use light sensor built in that outputs an analogue value from 0V to 3.3V.
As more light is applied on the sensor, more current will flow from the board through to a microcontroller.
With full exposure to daylight the sensor will output 3.3V, with no exposure to daylight the sensor will output 0V. In normal indoor lighting the sensor will output between 1V to 2V.
The LilyPad Light Sensor needs to be connected to a LilyPad Arduino or other similar microcontroller for the sensor values to be read in the code.
The Sensor has three sew tabs : Power (+), Ground (-), and Signal (S).
Specifications:
- Model : LilyPad Light Sensor Module

Tips :
Use alligator clips to temporarily connect the Sensor to a microcontroller, when the prototyping is finished replaced the alligator clips with conductive threads for permanent installation.
