Our 3.0 Nm NEMA24 Closed-loop stepper motors are high-performance stepper motors used to get the best performance from your stepper motor-driven applications. These NEMA24 Stepper Motors have a Nema23 Mounting profile which allows them to be used in NEMA23 applications like our CNC machines and linear actuators.
With the ability to be further fine-tuned in software, these motors can be tuned for applications requiring high precision.
Closed-loop stepper motors, unlike their standard contemporaries, can recover missed steps, are able to accelerate quicker, run faster, maintain torque at higher speeds and are quieter due to the lower inductance and advanced DSP control system when paired with the closed-loop stepper motor drivers. Unlike standard closed-loop stepper motors, our stepper motors come with 5 meters of encoder cable to suit our machine kits up to 1500 x 1500mm machine kits without needing to join cables inside the drag chain.
By default, programming the closed-loop motors is not required and can be used right out of the box.

Tips and Tricks
- The closed-loop stepper motors are best powered by a 36 or 48V power supply for higher speed and greater torque.
- The HSS57 Closed Loop Stepper Motor Driver is recommended to drive this stepper motor.
- For existing CNC builds, use these motors with 8x8mm jaw couplings for a drop-in replacement.
