This CNC control kit contains the necessary hardware to retrofit an existing CNC machine’s motion system. The CNC controller, cables, power supply and drivers are included with enough cable to enable you to fit machines that have up to a 1500 x 1500mm footprint. The kit contains the HSS57 Closed-loop stepper motor driver and the AXBB-E Ethernet Motion Controller And Breakout Board Combined.
This kit suits machines that require their entire Nema23-based control systems to be replaced and all required components have been included for your convenience and ease of fitting.
Unlike traditional controller kits, this kit contains an industry-renowned controller paired with our closed-loop stepper motors making this an extremely powerful and versatile solution for CNC control.

About the AXBB-E Ethernet Motion Controller And Breakout Board Combined
The AXBB-E is a CNC controller that is very popular in the CNC industry due to its reliability and feature-rich interface. Its flexibility allows it to be popular amongst hobbyists and professionals alike. The controller can control up to 6 stepper motors or Integrated Servo Motors with an impressive stepping rate of 400kHZ and communicates via an ethernet interface, making the controller largely immune to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
About Closed-loop Control Systems
Closed-loop stepper motors, unlike their standard contemporaries, can recover missed steps, are able to accelerate quicker, run faster, maintain torque at higher speeds and run quieter. This is due to the low inductance of the motors and advanced DSP control system when paired with the HSS57 closed-loop stepper motor driver in this bundle.
Built into the closed-loop stepper motor is an encoder that provides position feedback to the stepper motor driver which in turn provides error correction. This error correction is achieved by the driver comparing the commands given from an external source like a micro-controller to the rotation achieved by the motor and any loss of steps is compensated for.
