Description
Technical Overview
The Plastic Handle – 30 Series M6 is a high-strength black polycarbonate bolt-on handle for 30 Series T-slot aluminium extrusion frames. The handle mounts directly to the extrusion face or T-slot channel using M6 bolts, providing a secure grip point for carrying, opening doors, or operating panels. The ergonomic body suits repeated-use applications where a comfortable, firm grip is needed on framed assemblies.
The polycarbonate construction keeps weight low and provides a non-metallic grip surface comfortable to hold in both warm and cool environments. Furthermore, the black finish matches standard 30 Series accessories and blends with typical enclosure aesthetics.
Applications
The Plastic Handle – 30 Series M6 mounts to 30 Series T-slot aluminium extrusion to serve as a carry handle on portable frame assemblies, a door pull on enclosure access panels, or an operating handle on machine guard doors. In addition, common applications include handles on portable jigs, workstation enclosure door pulls, CNC machine access handles, and lift points on transport frames.
The handle secures to the extrusion face via M6 T-bolts into the T-slot channel, allowing repositioning along the slot without disassembly. Use with 30 Series T-slot hardware including T-nuts and cap head bolts to mount the handle securely to your frame.

Maker Store Tips and Tricks
-
- Mount the handle to the extrusion face using M6 T-bolts through the T-slot channel so the handle position is adjustable along the profile length.
- For carry handles on portable assemblies, position them at the frame’s centre of gravity – this reduces tipping and makes lifting easier.
- For door pulls, position the handle at a comfortable operating height for the user and check the swing clearance before finalising the bolt position.
- Match your mounting bolts to the 6.5 mm hole diameter and use washers where needed to spread clamping load on plastic handle feet.
- Apply thread lock to the mounting bolts on handles that are subject to vibration to prevent them loosening over time.
