Tips and tricks:
- For recommended feeds and speeds, please use the FSWizard Machinist Calculator here.
- These end mills feature Up-Cut geometry which tends to pull material upwards. Ensure that your workpiece is well secured.
- Non-tapered ball nose end mills generally require a roughing pass.
- If carving wood, use our Straight Cut End mills or Up-Cut end mills to do roughing passes before finishing with the ball nose end mill.
Please Note:
- Not recommended for soft metals such as aluminium, brass and copper
- Sold individually. Please select the endmill required and quantity.
- Depending on your application and the rigidity of your machine, a roughing pass may be required before performing a finishing pass with the tapered ball nose end mill.
