Here at Maker Store we are determined to provide the best quality products at the best prices. We perform product condition reports for all stock that comes through our door and if a product does not meet our standards we remove it from stock and it is deemed as a Second (2nd).

Products may be classified as a 2nd for the following reasons :

• Cosmetic damage
  • Scratch / Dent
  • Discoloured
• Error in manufacturing – Product tolerances do not meet our manufacturing standards
• Damaged Products
  • Surface rust on metal
  • Broken header pins
  • Edges out of square

We always recommend functional parts of a project to be built using our quality checked products, however 2nds are a perfect alternative for a hobbyist who is on a budget. Examples of uses for 2nds include; building cases / frames for CNC machines and control boxes, CNC Base-boards, furniture frames, and much more!
