Description
This straight bar load cell, sometimes also called a strain gauge, is like a translator for pressure or force. These load cells work by noticing changes in electrical resistance when the bar is pushed or pulled, and this change is directly linked to the pressure or force applied.
These gauges are commonly incorporated into applications requiring mass calculation and tracking changes in weight over time.
Each of these straight bar load cells is made from a strong aluminium alloy and can accurately read forces induced. A selection of load cells ranging from 1kg to 20kg are available and are paired with a HX711 Amplifier module for easy interfacing with a microcontroller.
Use these load cell modules with the following microcontrollers. The HX711 amplifier module is compatible with controllers that have 3.3V or 5V logic levels.
