Description
The Teensy 4.1 development board is the latest iteration of the very popular Teensy development platform. The board uses a powerful ARM Cortex-M7 NXP iMXRT1062 32-bit processor clocked at 600mHz, putting it in a class of its own in terms of raw performance. Unlike most controllers in its class, it offers a natively built micro-sd card slot as well as ethernet support. The impressive 55 pin I/O array makes the Teensy 4.1 an extremely flexible controller for both small and large scale projects requiring the processing power and substantial I/O real estate. With up to 4 times larger flash memory than its predecessor, the Teensy 4.0, it is a great upgrade for memory-intensive projects.
The Teensy 4.1 can be programmed using the well known Arduino IDE as well as the Teensyduino software.
This Teensy 4.1 comes with the headers pre-soldered, so it is ready to use out of the box!

Performance comparison
The ARM Cortex-M7 brings many powerful CPU features to a true real-time microcontroller platform. CPU performance is many times faster than typical 32-bit microcontrollers.
The ARM Cortex-M7’s superior performance against other controllers is shown below:
