Description
Technical Overview
The 2 Hole Panel Mount Bracket – 30 Series M6 is an aluminium bracket for securing flat panels and sheet materials to 30 Series T-slot aluminium extrusion frames. This bracket mounts to the extrusion in the standard way – an M6 bolt threads into a T-slot nut in the 8mm slot – and the panel or sheet material is then positioned alongside the extrusion and screwed directly into the bracket, which acts as the fixed anchor point for the panel fastener.
The Type A design provides a compact footprint suited to lighter panel applications with spatial constraints. Aluminium construction gives a good strength-to-weight ratio and compatibility with anodised extrusion aesthetics in visible assemblies.
Applications
The 2 Hole Panel Mount Bracket – 30 Series M6 is used to attach panels and sheet materials to 30 series aluminium extrusion structures. The bracket mounts to the extrusion with an M6 cap head bolt and T-slot nut; the panel is then screwed into the bracket face from the side. Suited to enclosure side panels, cover plates, decorative fascia, acrylic guards, cable management trays, and any 30 series frame assembly where panels need to be fixed alongside the extrusion without drilling into the profile.
Use Sliding T-Nut – 30 Series, 10 Pack for mid-slot installation where the profile end is not accessible. Space multiple brackets at regular intervals for panels wider than 150mm.

Maker Store Tips and Tricks
-
- Insert the T-nut into the slot before assembling the surrounding frame, as the slot opening becomes inaccessible once adjacent profiles are fitted.
- Finger-tighten both M6 bolts, adjust panel position to the correct alignment, then fully tighten to lock.
- For panels wider than 150mm, use brackets at both ends and an intermediate bracket to distribute support.
- The Type A design has a compact footprint – confirm it is the correct variant for the panel thickness and slot configuration of your build.
- Use the appropriate M6 T-nut for the slot (slide-in for open ends, drop-in for mid-slot access).
