Description
Technical Overview
The 90 degree 4 Hole Corner Bracket – 30 Series M8 8mm Tab is a die-cast aluminium right-angle connector with an enclosed box-section design for 30 Series T-slot framing systems. Unlike open two-hole brackets, it uses two M8 fixing points per arm – four in total – and a closed triangular profile that substantially increases rigidity and resistance to racking at corner joints. It suits frames carrying higher loads or subject to lateral forces.
Within a modular assembly, the enclosed construction also distributes clamping load more evenly across the joint than a flat L bracket. Furthermore, the die-cast aluminium body keeps the corner square during assembly, reducing the need for external squaring aids before final tightening. A plastic cover is included with each bracket, snapping onto the open back of the box section to give the finished corner a clean, closed appearance.
Applications
Use the 90 degree 4 Hole Corner Bracket – 30 Series M8 8mm Tab to reinforce high-load or structurally critical corners in 30 Series aluminium extrusion builds. Typical applications include heavy-duty machine frames, structural enclosures, industrial workstations, and equipment frames where a two-hole bracket does not provide sufficient resistance to lateral movement.
It pairs with Sliding T-Nut – 30 Series, 10 Pack and four M8 cap head bolts. For the 6mm tab version of the same bracket, the 90 Degree 4 Hole Corner Bracket – 30 Series M8, 6mm Tab is the direct alternative.

Maker Store Tips and Tricks
-
- Ensure the mating 30 Series profiles are cut square and fully seated in the bracket cavity before tightening any fasteners.
- Tighten the four M8 bolts in a diagonal sequence – snug all first, then torque to spec – to prevent uneven clamping and frame twist.
- The enclosed design self-squares the joint during assembly; confirm the 90-degree angle before final tightening.
- Use washers under bolt heads to distribute load and reduce surface marking on aluminium profiles.
- For high-vibration applications, apply a medium-strength thread locker to all four M8 bolts to maintain joint integrity.
