Description
These High-Speed Steel (HSS) End Mills can be used for a wide variety of applications which include but are not limited to milling:
- Plastics
- Foam
- Hard Wood
- Soft Wood
HSS provides excellent wear resistance and the integration of 4 flutes in the end mill design allows for faster feed rates and a finer side wall finish. Up-cut end mills are the most common type of end mill. They tend to ‘pull’ material up and out of the milled slot. This commonly leaves a smooth finish at the bottom and a slight burr at the top of the material being processed such as wood.
Our end mills come in a set of 10 and are a perfect addition to your CNC build.

Tips and tricks
- Due to the tendency of the workpiece to be pulled upwards during milling, please ensure that the workpiece is sufficiently clamped.
