Description
The 2WD Mobile Robot Platform is driven by 2 DC motor gear boxes (ELEC-DCMOTORSERVO). They are high speed and can run up to 100RPM, 1.3kg.cm at 800mA.
Two plastic wheels (WHEEL-SERVO-60X8) press-fit onto the DC motor gear box output gear shaft to make a nice drive solution for small robots. The wheels have silicone tires and measure 60mm (2.36″) in diameter. A Universal Swivel Wheel (WHEEL-SWIVELKIT) is used to balance the platform and allows for easy rotation.
The 2WD Mobile Robot Platform can be controlled with Arduino and the Servo Motor Controller (ELEC-DCMOTORDRIVER).
This kit can easily be upgrade to a 4WD version by adding extra Motors and Wheels.
This 2WD Mobile Robot Platform frame is made with 5051 aluminum alloy and anodize red.
It is very easy to add all kinds of sensors making it a great platform for your robots needs. This is a great start kit for students.
