Description
Specifically designed for 3D carving and relief carving, these end mills will leave a cleaner cut for woods as is with the nature of straight cut end mills. Tapered ball nose end mills tend to have longer cutting edge lengths for those deeper carvings and there is no need to worry about snapping them easily due to the added strength by tapering the end mill.

Tips and tricks:
- Straight Cut end mills generate a lot of dust instead of chips so proper ventilation is recommended when using these end mills.
- Tapered Ball Nose end mills are stronger than standard ball nose endmills so a roughing pass is not usually required.
- The harder the wood, the cleaner the cut.
- Do roughing passes before finishing with the tapered ball nose for a cleaner carve.

- Not recommended for soft metals such as aluminium, brass and copper
- Sold individually. Please select the endmill required and quantity.
- Depending on your application and the rigidity of your machine, a roughing pass may be required before performing a finishing pass with the tapered ball nose end mill.
