Solidworks is offering a free license for all qualified educators, makers, hobbyists, veteran, students and sponsored organizations.
Steps:
- At the question, “I already have a Serial Number that starts with 9020”, select “no”
- Enter code “921MAKER“ in text box
- Select Version (2020-2021 is good)
- At “Please Select one of the following”, select “Maker”. I believe maker and hobbyist are the same version.

The confirmation page has your serial numbers.
You will receive an email with further instructions.
The serial number will be for both the CAD and CAM versions, so when installing make sure to install both the CAD and CAM versions!
