Our 1 Flute Up-Cut End Mills are the best all-rounder end mills and are excellent for cutting plastics. Single flute up-cut end mills allow for the largest chips possible to be evacuated and the larger the chips, the less heat in the machined part. The more heat transferred away from the material prevents the plastic from melting and chip rewelding which means a clean finish on the part.

Pro-tip: Ramp into the material rather than plunge if you can, to preserve the end mill’s service life.
